Hello 2015

hello2015So another year had started today and I am not sure what it holds for me. I know that I shall keep blogging here, more and more of you are reading this and I hope enjoying it.

However I also have something that has been in the pipeline for a long time at the forefront of my mind. It is now time to do something about it or forget about it once and for all. A great friend of mine has set me the challenge to actually launch it in the first few months of 2015 and I am hoping to stick to it. I know it all sounds a bit vague at the moment but you will certainly see what it is soon and if you live in Copenhagen I will be wanting to hear your views.

Secondly I will be writing a newsletter for this blog which will be sent directly to the inboxes of readers who have signed up for it. I am thinking it will be a weekly thing but with varying content throughout the month but certainly there will be articles and information that are exclusive to the newsletter. I want to do this to offer loyal readers something more but also to connect with you all on a more personal level. I hope you will consider signing up for it, if you haven’t already. I promise not to spam you with anything unrelated to this blog or things directly related to my work.

Finally on a professional note, I will be working harder on my freelance work after the success in 2014 of my first media campaign for a while for Bake On’s Kickstarter project. I would love to do more of this and also work on things that directly help others in their lives and endeavours.

Personally I want to continue to be kinder to myself. I have realised (probably later than people who know me) that I am quite a sensitive soul and take a lot to heart which I shouldn’t. I can’t change who I am but I can be kinder to myself and try and relax a little more. The year holds more challenges as my son starts at his first proper school in August and the changes it will bring to him and our family.

I will also be forty in June! I don’t want to be forty (and I certainly don’t feel it) but I still think it is something to celebrate. We will be doing something as a family but I plan to spend a long weekend with two of my oldest friends in Paris in the autumn – so I will be looking for recommendations soon!

Other than that it will be a year of learning, development and I hope, success! How about you – what does 2015 look like for you?

  1. Good Luck with all of your projects. Have a fantastic 2015. Having got to the other side of 40 it’s not so bad at all, but I can’t lie I did find my actual fortieth year quite a trauma but only because it feels like such a milestone! Still loving your Blog and planning my next trip to Copenhagen!!
