Bird song and fruit trees – Visit to Banegaarden, Copenhagen {video}

In this video, we take a trip just fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Copenhagen to a beautiful green oasis known as Banegården.

This former section of Bane Danmark’s old train area has nine wooden barns, which have now been converted into a thriving area with street food, greengrocers, restaurants and a stage where they hold talks and show films.

There are green spaces with fruit trees, wild vegetation and that all-important bird song.

We also had a quick look at some new sustainable student accommodation (link) next to Banegården (it is OK to walk around here as long as you respect the residents’ privacy).

I hope you enjoy this video. If you want to know more about Banegården and the events programme, check out their website.
