Hello September – some autumn goals

Quite frankly I have no idea where this year has gone. It seems it was only yesterday that is was the spring and we were enjoying the blossoms near our old apartment and now the leaves are starting to get a little tinge of autumn colour to them. This morning I woke up at 6am and saw the sunrise (before getting a little more sleep) and it made me realise that summer is on the way out.

The summer was a great chance to wind down, enjoy some family time and the glorious weather we had, seriously it was the best summer we have ever experienced here ever!

But nevertheless I am looking forward to the last part of this year.  The autumn is a wonderful time here in Copenhagen. One of my biggest goals is to get out as much as possible and enjoy the autumn colours. It is even more important as the shorter days start to enjoy as much daylight as possible.

My son is really into collecting and making stuff so we will be heading to Fælledparken basket in hand to collect leaves, pinecones and anything else we can collect. We will also spend a day at the Frilandsmusset – autumn is a great time to enjoy this place. It is usually very quiet and you can collect some of the biggest, reddest autumn leaves I have ever seen. Living in a new part of town means there are some new places to explore as the season’s change and I plan to share them here.  I am also planning to get organised this year and plant a løgbomben for the spring.

On a profesional note I shall be continuing the build my communications business and this blog however the biggest goal for the autumn is to have some fun, enjoy life and be spontaneous.

How about you? Are you looking forward to the autumn?

  1. It’s back to school for me today! Definately the end of the summer! It’s looking a bit wet and cold outside – leggings and a jumper for me I think! Hope you have a good day x
