It has been almost springlike these last few days – 10 degrees and bird song in the air – but it may not last so I decided to have a morning out and about in the city yesterday.
First I visited the Palm Houses at the Botanical Gardens. I love wandering around these tropical green houses. The biggest of the hot houses is currently being renovated and will be open again in the autumn but the smaller ones each side are still lovely to walk around.
Next I cycled over to the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. I had wanted to see the Anita Jørgensen exhibit for a while and it closes this weekend (on the 12th so there are still a few days to see it). I am still not sure I understand modern art and sculpture but it was interesting to see her installations alongside the ancient sculptures.
I finished up my morning with a delicious lunch at Lele Street Kitchen. Lovely.
