In this video, I visit the famous Glyptotek Museum in central Copenhagen. The museum was founded in 1897 by the brewer Carl Jacobsen. It contains 10,000 works of art and Greek, Roman and Egyptian archaeological objects and Danish and French art. The architecture of the building is impressive, as is the beautiful Winter Garden. It is free to enter the museum on Tuesdays, and any special exhibitions are half price.
