I think that Spring has to be the most colourful time of the year. It is a time with flowers can shine through without competing with green leaves and how they shine!

I captured these amazingly bright magnolia blooms on some new trees outside one of the villas in Valby a few weeks ago. It was stunning to see, especially as the rest of the trees were just twigs.Slightly less flamboyant but nonetheless beautiful ones in Vesterbro.Cherry blossoms have to be my favourite type of Spring flowers and there are wonderful little pockets of them all over the city – my favourite so far are at Skydebanen playground in Vesterbro but there are other breathtaking displays in Langelinie and Bispebjerg Cemetery.
