Royal Library garden

I love when you stumble upon something new and wonderful, don’t you? On Monday after we had eaten lunch at Sticks and Sushi at the Tivoli Hotel, we decided to have a cycle along the harbour as the weather was so glorious. At the Black Diamond my son had a call of nature so we cycled towards the Jewish Museum, which as open despite it being a Monday and a public holiday.IMG_6296As we came through the archway to the museum a wonderful surprise awaited us -the Royal Library Garden – a lovely oasis of calm with shady walks, rose bushes, a gentle fountain and manicured lawns for sunbathing. A perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the nearby roads and harbour. I doubt this is a secret place to many but it was another new discovery in this beautiful city that always seems to surprise and delight me.library garden
