Copenhagen is a noticeably flat city so there are very few opportunities to get high up and look down on it. Most older buildings had their heights restricted by law and are only about 5 storeys high but there are a number of new buildings springing up in the new areas such as Ørestad and along the harbour that offer great views.
To make the most of the views high hotels are placing bars and restaurants on the top floors. One that gives amazing views across to Sweden, the city and the countryside beyond is the Sky Bar at the Bella Sky Comwell Hotel. I took these pictures on a summer morning but I can’t wait for a chance to go back to this 23rd floor bar and watch the sunset with a glass of bubbly in hand.
