After being cooped up indoors last week when summer arrived, I took the opportunity yesterday to have a wander around Nyhavn and enjoy the blues skies and blow away a few cobwebs.

I know it is very touristy and for very good reason. It was one of the first places I visited in Copenhagen before we moved here and is the place I always take visitors to. Early on a summer morning with a trickle of tourists and delivery vans it is a lovely place to walk. The colours of the buildings and the boats coupled with blue skies with wispy clouds it is picture postcard Copenhagen and I never tire of it.
